Formula One Viewing Party - Canadian Grand Prix -
Canadian Grand Prix* – Race starts at noon – doors open at 11am
Formula One fans in Music City now have a place to gather with other Formula One fans to watch the exciting racing together and to showcase their cars. Beef ‘O’Brady’s, located at 1724 Carothers Parkway in Cool Springs, will be the site of the viewing parties and car corrals. Great parking is provided in front of the restaurant and entry to the party is $12 at the door ($6 for children under 12), which includes breakfast and a drink. Mimosas are available at an additional charge. With numerous televisions tuned into the Speed Channel, there is not a bad seat in the house.
* For the Canadian Race there will not be a door fee, you will order off the menu.

You must be wearing Formula One attire to be eligible for the many door prizes. Bring your clubs banners, pennants and your race team’s colors to showcase your favorite team and / or driver.

Overnight Drive to Helen, GA - Oktoberfest - Event Location: Helen, Georgia
Event Information:
Celebrate Oktoberfest with the Old Hickory Chapter BMWCCA in the Alpine village of Helen, GA October 10th weekend. Helen is a quaint little town in the mountains of north Georgia. Check it out at helenga.org or helengeorgia.com. There is a lot to do...drive some great curvy roads, hike in the mountains, shop and see the sites in the village, join in the merriment at the Festhalle. We plan to do it all!
There is a block of rooms available to us at the Helendorf Inn. helendorf.com. Standard rooms are $114 per night with a 2 night minimum. You can stay Friday & Saturday, or Saturday & Sunday (Monday is Columbus Day). One night’s deposit is required and cancellations are allowed up until October 1. If you think you might want to go, reserve a room because they do sell out. The whole town sells out during the fall and Oktoberfest. Everyone will be responsible for their own reservations. Contact the Helendorf at 800-445-2271 and identify yourself as being with the Old Hickory Chapter BMWCCA to receive the negotiated rate. We’ll set up departure times & groups at a later date.
