BMW South County promotes BMW CCA
It started with the Rocky Mountain Chapter, which linked their website to a supportive dealer, Murray BMW—and vice-versa. Now the San Diego Chapter has followed suit, persuading BMW South County to “hook up” with the BMW CCA website. The result? Bannered across the top of one BMW South County page is a promo for the BMW CCA “Car Of Your Dreams” raffle, as well as direct links to the Club website.
Cross-promotions are a "win-win" for BMW dealers and the BMW CCA.
BMW South County may be unfamiliar to many BMW enthusiasts, but that’s only because their name has changed; founded by the late Rug Cunningham as Cunningham BMW, the San Diego dealership has long supported the San Diego Chapter of the BMW CCA. Under the direction of Rug Cunningham, the dealership was noted as the place to go for all things M; Cunningham himself drove an M6 in the Silver State Classic runs, as well as supplying M5s for that adventure and others.
With general manager Jeff Gerken at the helm of BMW South County, the dealership continues to specialize in enthusiasts’ cars—and to support the car club that personifies BMW enthusiasm.—Satch Carlson
